Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Rogue
Next year will see the release of not one, but two Assassin’s games. The historical adventure is set just after the war and you play the central character, Shay Patrick Cormac. Unsurprisingly, Shay is an assassin, and the plot revolves around him and everything he has to do. In Unity, you play the central role of Arno. The release of both games will happen on 13th November 2014, so you can get your hands on a copy of these games for Christmas. Gamers have been anticipating these games since the beginning of the year. You can only get the games on PC. If you plan on playing this game, you will need the best gaming computer, as the graphics are impeccable, and so need large storage.
Batman: Arkham Knight
Batman is back yet again, with yet another mission. The game will be available on Ps4 and Xbox One. The game sees the return of Scarecrow, who recently disappeared. It also features a brand new villain, the Arkham Knight. The story is your usual Batman adventure. You have to save the city from an evil plot and along the way you have to complete various other missions. If you have ever played a Batman game before, you know what you’re getting.
Next we have a gothic treat from Action RPG. Bloodborne is everything you want it to be. There is gore, dimly lit passages and intrigue. What more could you want? This game is a completely new style of action, adventure game. Experts have commented that the detail on this game is incredible. The thing that is great about this game is that it has a strong narrative. You don’t just have to chase and kill the villain. Instead, you have to develop a strategy and use your mind to complete your missions. The game will be out on PS4, and you can pre-order your copy online now.
Dead Island 2
Dead Island 2 is not for the weak at heart or stomach. This horror game is terrifying. Even looking at stills from the game will send shivers down your spine. The game will be out on Ps4 and Xbox One, and will feature some of the most-realistic zombies you have ever seen. Set in California, this is a game of survival. You have one mission, and that is not to let the zombies eat you. After the huge popularity of the original Dead Island, it was only a matter of time before there was a sequel.
The only two-dimensional game on our list, Fenix Rage, is a treat for gamers who love retro games. Green Lava Studios are the masterminds behind the game that people are comparing to the likes of Flappy Bird. The game takes the form of a classic platform game with a series of levels, each one more challenging than the last. The central character, Fenix, must chase an evil villain, who has caused havoc in his hometown. The game is anything but short. There are 200 levels in the game, meaning it is sure to keep gamers happily addicted for hours.
